Roof Tiling in Collier Row

This client in collier row wanted to keep there old tiles, so we stripped the roof installed new breathable felt new 25x38mm treated batten. Re installed original tiles. We replaced the old fascias and soffits with new UPVC fascia soffits and guttering.

Client's Challenge

This client contacted us in regards to the age of of this pan tile roof.

The client wanted advice and the best, cost effective way to rectify the issues they had.

We inspected the roof tiles and suggested that new felt and batten was needed but the roof tiles themselves still had plenty of life still in them so they could re use them to keep the cost down, the client was appreciative of our honesty and went for option A of re using the tiles.

GPM Roofing Solution

GPM stripped the entire roof back to rafters in preparation for the new felt and batten. We dented this project with breathable membrane felt and used 25×38 treated batten. We re used the existing tiles to tile this roof in as requested by the client, the main ridge was re bedded back on and a new UPVC fascia, soffit and black half round guttering was installed to finish this project Another happy client
