This project was in Harold hill. Complete new roof stripped back to rafters. New breathable felt and batten with new sandtoft 15x9 tiles which matching ridge to complete this project

Client's Challenge

This client got in touch about the age of the original roof and a few issues they had over the last year, we explained the roof was at the end of its life due to batten rot. We gave options for a new roof and this client chose a brown smooth Marley mendip tile to complete this project.

GPM Roofing Solution

GPM erected scaffolding for safe access and stripped the roof back to the rafters de-nailing each on in the process. We installed breathable felt membrane along with 25×38 treated batten set out at the correct gauge for the Marley mendips.

All tiles were installed making sure every 3rd course was nailed. GPM installed new undercloaks and bedded the verges on sand and cement.
The finish to this project was the the brown smooth matching ridge tiles all bedded on in shad and cement.
