New Roof in Harold Hill

This project was in Harold hill. Complete new roof with new breathable felt. New 25x38 treated batten. New brown sandtoft concrete tiles with matching hips and ridges. New step flashing leadwork to complete this project

Client's Challenge

The client called us out for this project due to the original roof of over 80years old needed renewing we explained the procedure needed to complete this project.

GPM explained that scaffolding would be required for safe access. Then gave the client tile samples to pick which tile and colour they would like. The client opted for the brown granular sandtoft concrete tiles with matching hips and ridges.

GPM Roofing Solution

GPM stripped the entire roof back to the rafters and de nailed them in preparation for new roof installation. GPM installed breathable felt membrane and used treated 25×38 batten set out at the correct gauge. We layed brown granular sandtoft tiles to the roof space all cuts where machine made. GPM installed brown granular hips and ridges fixed with a dry fix system mechanically screwed to hip and ridge line.

To finish this project code 5 step flashing and front trays were installed around the chimney stack. The client was over the moon with the final outcome.
