Client's Challenge
The client contacted GPM due to water ingress into he’s office, GPM attended this clients property to have a look and give a solution for the issue.
We discovered the leadwork and split on each side of the dormer and explained to the client this will need renewing. GPM made the client aware that we would need to remove there old cladding to access the leadwork. The client suggested that the cladding could do with updating so we showed them samples for the cladding works in which they wanted white UPVC hollow cladding.
GPM Roofing Solution
GPM installed new code 5 lead flashings to each side of the dormer with extra lead soakers it stop any water ingress. We then installed the new cladding to each side of the dormer which turned out to be very satisfying for the client.
GPM installed a new 3 Layer torch on system to the dormer roof consisting of stripping the flatroof back to the original boards we then installed new code 5 lead outlets and installed a 3 Layer torch on system finished in a grey mineral, the same process was used for their front bay window roof and new code 4 lead flashing to the wall.
The client was very pleased with the finished project and no more leaks to be concerned with.
