New great hanging tiles for this Dormer project in Chelmsford. New leadwork around dormer new breathable felt and batten finished with Grey Marley tiles with matching corner tiles

Client's Challenge

This client had a new dormer built by a reputable building contractor and had GPM come in to quote for the dormer leadwork and hanging tiles.

The client was given the different colour of tiles to choose from and decided on the grey Marley plain tiles for this project.

GPM Roofing Solution

GPM started by installing new code 4 lead flashings to the base of the dormer and window seals to stop water ingress. GPM installed 25×38 treated batten set out at the correct gauge for vertical plain tiles.

GPM tiled the dormer with grey Marley plain tiles including grey corner tiles using machine cuts to go around the windows and up the roof pitch.

The client was very happy with the final project outcome.

This client in collier row wanted to keep there old tiles, so we stripped the roof installed new breathable felt new 25x38mm treated batten. Re installed original tiles. We replaced the old fascias and soffits with new UPVC fascia soffits and guttering.
